Unplugged
Hi Friends and art lovers
Summer is almost here and the days are getting nice and long. The time is right to get out your summer garb and free yourself from all the heavy clothes of winter. With that said, one of my paintings is featured in the Flying House Magazine this month to promote the "Unplugged" cappella concert put on by Seattle Men's Chorus. This painting of a summer shirt, what we used to call Aloha Shirts, traces the I-5 route from Vancouver, BC to the Mexico boarder. In the design of the shirts fabric, I tried to hit on fun places of interests and some characteristis of places along the route. I am sure I left out a few, but forgive the artistic license. The theme of unplugging seemd perfect for a nice long road trip. For times and dates of the concert check www.flyinghouse.org and for more original art check out www.janetwoldart.com
