Artists in Great Spaces
Time is flying by so fast this summer, I've hardly had time to smell the roses. Coming up next week, August 17th, I will be taking over a large corner building in downtown Everett. For the next 6 weeks this well be the home of Janet Wold Art Studio and Gallery. This is part of a partnership, between building owners and artists, put together by the city of Everett and The Snohomish Arts Council. I am honored to have been chosen to be part of this project. I plan to make the best of my time , by packing the place with art, opening the doors and welcoming the community to come by for a visit. I will be painting and doing a variety of other art projects. I am also looking for suggestions on a recycle project using tin can lids. I have been saving them and this is the time to find a fun way to use them. Please come by for a visit, bring you paint stuff and join in the fun. I have not figured out my schedule yet, but I will definitely be there on Tuesdays and Thursday, from 12-4. I will post the other days and hours once I get setup. The address is 2831 Wetmore. It is on the NE corner of Wetmore and Hewitt. The building has blue awnings and is just 2 blocks west of the Comcast Center. There are artists in 6 other locations and I am fortunately just across the street from Wise Design. So I am with good company. www.janetwoldart.com
