Studio will be open until further notice

This weekend is the Crazy Sale at the studio. It is basically a garage sale with some art, vintage china, glass & books, jewelry, natural wonders and lots of oddities. The oddities are going fast. The studio was supposed to be closing next week, but the Artists In Great Spaces, program has had a very nice response in Everett, and I have been asked to continue my stay. I will be moving out the non art g-sale items and moving my art, and my paints back in to the studio October 5th. This time I have asked artist Jane Meagher to join me in my space at 2831 Wetmore Ave, in downtown Everett. Just a few block west of Comcast Arena and Event Center. We hope to collaborate on a sculpture piece and our space should be open more days with the two of us sharing the space. Please check back for times next week. Until then GO DAWGS! Speaking of dogs, Lucy as turns out is a good studio dog. She love the place, and settles right done to lay in the sun, and she gets lots of greetings and treats.

Art Walk

This is my 5th week in the downtown Everett studio, and things are finally in place.
This weeks hours are: Tuesday and Thursday 11:30 -4
Friday 11:30 -6
This Saturday is Art walk in Everett. I will be open from 4 - 8pm, along with Wise Designs and Lowell Art Works.
I have 3000 square feet of art space, at least that is what I've been told. I have totally filled my studio space with paintings original prints, miniature masks and more.
I have windows on two full sides, and it is a bit like being in a fish bowl.
To celebrate this great program (Artists in Great Spaces) I have temporarily put every piece of art on sale, most pieces are half off their listed price, but just for the next 2 weeks. So come on in and have a visit and check out the other artists in their studios.

Dogs and girls

I just got an email from the people who rescued my Lucy. We had lost contact with them over the years, but we have always been curious to know how the family and Lucy's sister are doing. They recently read about me and my art in the paper and sent me a note. It seems Lucy's sister just had knee surgery. I guess this really pulls true for the lab, genetic group theory. Lucy is still in recovery from her second knee surgery, but she is just a month away from freedom, but not the unrestricted kind of the past. There will be no more jumping in and out of the car and truck. No more jumping onto our extra high bed. We will stay clear of those big logs at the beach, and keep her just a bit closer on the trail. Her leg are doing splendidly. Now if we could just get her to relax when it rains, thunders, or the neighbors Chihuahuas bark, we would be totally there.
On other fronts, the painting from last weeks post sold at the studio. Yippee for me! Besides the Everett studio/gallery I am also showing dog and cat art at Paddywack, in Mill Creek and the Mapleleaf Vet in Seattle. As always a donation to animal charity is made with every purchase of art. This weeks posted hours in Everett are Tues, Wed, Thurs 11:30 - 6, Friday 11:30 -2, Saturday 12 -3. I take appointmentws too. Hope to see you soon. www.janetwoldart.com
